A Little About "The Den"

The Fox's Den ChildCare was started in January of 2017 out of our home in Wadsworth.  After adopting our youngest 2 sons and phasing out of being a foster parent, I still had the desire to care for and teach and play with amazing kids, so starting our own childcare solution seemed like the perfect fit! I've been privileged to care for the same group of kids I started with from the beginning, but quickly saw there was a need in Wadsworth for a more affordable but still top quality childcare solution - a need that I could not meet given the space in my home.  With the vision of blending the best that in home care has to offer with that of a state licensed daycare center, I sought out the perfect space to make it happen!

Once you tour The Fox's Den, you'll see a cozy atmosphere with the goal of mimicking a home environment, as well as an indoor jungle gym and other features provided to ensure your child has a whole lot of fun while they are here!

Some of my "favorite things" at the Den include our video camera system, for that extra layer of security and accountability, , and our disco lights dance parties in every classroom (except infants), and our staff of amazing teachers that truly care for children like they are their own, with excellence.

I'm a blessed mother of 3 active boys and 1 baby girl, ages 9, 5, and 4 and baby.  I know the importance of keeping children busy and  engaged, and feeding their minds as well.

I also have a passion for teaching children and seeing them learn! Learning inspires confidence in children, and confidence is a key building block to securing their future. I believe children learn best through hands on and interactive play, and we utilize this concept with everything we teach. We have a structured, yet extremely fun environment!
